Preparing to participate in the 2015 National Observance of Children’s Sabbath on October 18, we began Lighting a Candle for Children on September 13 and will continue to do this weekly until the event.  This includes both lighting a candle and prayer.  Daily devotions and prayers written by children and youth in the UCC and DoC may be found on Facebook at Light a Candle for Children.
