Breakfast with Santa

Presented for all children in the St. Paul’s area and beyond, Breakfast With Santa is held on a Saturday in  mid-December.  Breakfast is served by The Breakfast Club, the children work on crafts, and then Santa Claus arrives!

Fall Festival Parking

Several classes and groups from St Paul’s operate our Fall Festival Parking during the annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival.  Parking on a lighted parking lot at a reasonable fee benefits the community, and proceeds fund various ministries of St. Paul’s.  Our parking lot at West Michigan Street and 12th Avenue offers parking to disabled persons free of charge.

Pet Blessing Saturday

St. Francis of Assisi loved all creatures.  In honor of St. Francis, St. Paul’s United Church of Christ is pleased to offer Pet Blessing Saturday Dr. Bill Wassner will bless pets on the Saturday morning of the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival Pet Parade.  The parade date is usually the first Saturday following The Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi.

Your pet is a creature of God.  Celebrate the love you have for your pet by bringing your pet to be blessed.  If your pet does not travel well, or if your pet does not do well around other animals, you may bring a picture of your pet for Dr. Wassner to bless.

Rummage Sale

The Rummage Sale is usually held in the early summer.  Items sold are donated by members and friends of St. Paul’s.  Occasionally, an item will be donated to a social service agency before the sale.  Proceeds from the sale of the remaining items help to fund the Open Gym ministry and the annual neighborhood school supply distribution.

Sausage Supper

Our famous Sausage Supper is held the second Wednesday of every November.  Members and friends come together to cook and serve dinner.  Delicious sausage, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, navy beans, and apple pie are served.  Dine-in and carry-out are available.  Proceeds support various mission projects.

Trunk-or-Treat

St. Paul’s is one of many churches and civic organizations in Evansville which hold a Trunk-or-Treat event.  A large selection of clever and creative “treat-givers” set up on the grassy area next to our main parking lot.  A cookout, crafts, and other fun activities are also offered.
